Mind you I dont really see the need to display what everyone is doing, show who is on line by all means

It makes us MUCH easier to spot people logging in and out of duplicate id's - in short, it enables us to spot trollsign MUCH easier
NOW I watched what you were doing, AND AS SOON AS YOU CAME OFF READING THE G AND M THREAD, AND CAME TO THIS ONE I followed cos i knew you were going to reply to me post, but if I was a troll i could follow you all over the forum and cause all sorts of hassle. and thats the other side of the coin. Myself, I dont care who knows what I am doing, but if it bothers other people that much perhaps we should let them go into cloaking mode [trek talk lol]
LOL ahhhh but then there is that wonderful IGNORE button
Hang on, just thought if you dont sign in you can still read the posts as a GUEST

1) There's a delay in reading that page
2) It would be just as easy to watch the front page, refreshing every few mins and watching what threads come to the top....
3) Any cloaking works for the trolls, and considering the hassle in the last few months - anything that works against them is good to me.
People talk about privacy issues that don't really understand privacy at all Fender. I've been involved in writing and amending security policies for companies and I can assure you this is less to do with genuine privacy then it seems.
Why the hell does it matter people can see whose reading what? EVERYONE can do it - that means no one person has an advantage...
OH YES I FORGOT ALL ABOUT THATOriginally Posted by gothica
