If Ebid wanted a memorable web address, then they could do worse than look at ebid.it. Anyway, most people don't even look at how the domain ends.

I thought this domain is neat how about eidsgalore.com as another link to leads to eids.net

Right. The domain 'ebid.it' is owned by a chap by the name of 'Robert Fox'. It is up for renewal on 28/12/2012. Ebid could do no worse than to stake a claim to it under the protection of the company's image.
