YDC 100 - The Next Phase - A Theme

The next phase Is to choose a listing theme for YDC100 (for publicity purposes)

Hopefully one that will encourage MORE members to join in.

I will run another poll - in 7 days time - with all the collated ideas (including an option for "no theme")

Please keep this thread "on task"........we (I) still have a massive workload ahead.

Anything shiny, gold, silver, bronze ( and various permutations of those colours)

Throwing a new idea into the pot... do we want something that works with the nominated charity?

Since I don't think it will be kids charity I can use that example without prejudice and say, for example if a kids' charity won, then kids could be the theme.

I am not sure what to suggest right now - I shall see what others are suggesting first.
Anything shiny seems like a good idea - not too restrictive.

YDC 100th Birthday

Listings could be anything e.g. nice gifts for ladies, gentlemen or children, tablewear, just about anything you could think of to do with birthdays with nice or imaginative items for buyers. This then gives a chance for everyone to list within their budgets and a wide range of things could be listed.

I think no particular theme so we can list anything.

If there is a theme are we only to list things of that nature? Just trying to see what is meant by theme. I think it would be hard to come up with something that fits a theme and still gives variety to the listings but I would need a little more guidance.
