Default My Gas Cooker Has Died :(

We got our annual visit from the guy who checks all the gas installations this week.

Our faithful old gas cooker has finally been condemned so we are now cooking on a one ring camping stove

Oh dear, hope you enjoy beans and toast, just kidding.

Hope you find a replacement soon.

Best wishes for many sales to all,

Lol....I won't be able to buy a replacement until at least the end of next year

I need to lose weight so perhaps it was the right time to lose the cooker

Bet you won't be able to buy a cooker as good as your old one (before it was condemned that is)
Out of interest why was it condemned? Gas cookers live for ever....

It was condemned because the gas guy said it was dangerously dodgy after I told him that the grill went up in flames whatever we were cooking on it.

The cooker was more than 30 years old...I think I worked her to death

I'm happy with the one burner that we have now....we can still make the huge pot messes we love

    Yep, that would do it!

I barely use the four rings on my cheap'n'nasty little electric cooker (no gas here) since I go the induction hob, which is a single standalone ring that plugs into the wall. Really useful, and so much faster and more responsive than the clunky cooker. But I'd miss my oven if the cooker died - no bread, no pizzas and no roast veg - eeek!!
