YDC100 Charity Nominated by Members
YDC100 Charity Nominated by YDC99 winner
Yes, Kim, you are quite right.
I realise that the 'stalwarts' will list their YDC items, and possibly have already casted their votes.
I was hoping to 'egg on' maybe one or two (preferably more!) newcomers to join us in our fundraising.
The more, the merrier, and every little helps!
So - all newcomers to YDC are very welcome! Please join in the fun - try it and see!
Have opted not to vote; so I also relinquish priviledge to complain about the outcome of the vote. Not sure what constitutes a member. We used to have 2-3 handfuls, now we are at about a handful.
There are 623 views, 42 comments (7%), and 25 votes (4% of views and 59% of comments). So votes have been pretty weighty in regards to those who have chosen to vote.
Many USA "members" have been MIA for some time. There have been alot of new comers to YDC lately; they just do not seem to be commenting. Hopefully they will join in,even if they do not comment here or vote.
A bit of a disappointment for me is, that at this 100th YDC, the experiment of combining YDC & YDC USA, has not produced the growth expectation that was projected. Perhaps goals and expectations experienced a shift. So, best to go forward and up from this point on.
Sorry, I voted on the first day of the thread but forgot to add that I had voted.
May I also suggest, that many YDC followers do not visit this thread.
They wait until the YDC thread apears on the "Kitchen Table"
So maybe if you are not happy with this poll,
ask Vonz to start the "Kitchen Table" YDC 98 thread with a similar poll.
I tend to just go to New posts, and rarely check where the thread actually is
Sorry, that's not the point. Sure, lots of stuff goes on in the KT and we all tend to read it. So it's hit rate is high. Fewer people are interested in charity issues (alas) so its hit rate is low. Fine. What you're suggesting is that even people who might be interested in charity discussion are too welded to the KT to venture out and take a look in a forum that they should find stimulating. Some sort of forum agoraphobia! I hope you're wrong, nothing personal m'dear!
