I'm no expert, but I have a feeling that it could be Meissen, not Worcester. Just has that 'look' about it.
Also, the '8' could possibly be a fancy S.
It's a beautiful set and I would love to know if you discover the true manufacturer. Good Luck.![]()
Not sure about Worcester tea sets but their sauce is amazing.
The only blue sword marks with oval hilts I have managed to find so far are Japanese - 1960's

I honestly do not think/feel that they are Japanese somehow.
Just a gut feeling - but there again I may be wrong!
