    Unhappy Seller doesn't answer comms, hasn't invoiced, I want out!!

    Won my first eBid last Monday for an item marked payable by cheque. Used AAL to contact seller re details of cheque payment (twice), also requested invoice AND emailed him on his Yahoo account. NO reply at all. He has good feedback but has recently fallen into dispute with a single buyer who claims her items weren't shipped, it's resulted in the matter being logged with PayPal. Maybe this seller's hiding from all his internet transactions but I've had enough. Is there a way I can cancel my bid even now I've apparently 'won' this item?

    Sorry you had this experience. If it were me, I'd contact support: support@ebid.net and explain the situation, they're real people and will get back to you in a timely and helpful fashion.

    Whatever you do, don't send payment until/unless you get confirmation of the sale from the seller, better safe than sorry.

    I agree with Sue. The way forward is to contact Support & keep them informed. Click Help button, top right.
    Click Contact Us and fill in the form. You will be emailed a ticket number & shortly after, when the matter has been assessed you will be emailed again.
    Good Luck - BTW Support are real people and not Bots - they are really good and quick.

    Thanks guys, have just mailed Support. Fingers crossed they sort it! At least I didn't part with any payment before I found out I'm dealing with someone unreliable. Thanks again & thanks for the welcome! XX
