Years ago we were given a box of papers - sheet music, 19'teens and 20s theatre magazines and such. I only briefly went through it, saw it was mostly sheet music, and put it with the groups sheet music box. I have just been sorting it out *properly* and found a couple of Victorian studio portrait photos - no idea who the gentleman is, in the photos but the photos are stamped "The Swiss Studio, Sydney". I was wondering if there is any copyright attached still, (I googled the studio and it doesnt show up) and if there is any market for random antique portrait photographs, as they arent much use to us unless they get used as part of a theatre set or two in future.
Any info/ advice on the photos would be greatly appreciated - keep as props, or sell?
