A general question for anyone who knows really
Does anyone know what happened with the the ebid charity quilt that was surposed to be auctioned in dec 2009 but was delayed as stichy syls daughter took ill and she was pieceing it together. Was it auctioned off in the end ?

Funny - I was just looking at Pearlygirl's photos of the quilt pieces and thinking it was such a great idea....I don't recall how far it got, or what happened......it would be good to learn about it. Might be an idea to try again, or springboard from for another fund-raiser...

No mist or fog here, just heavily overcast and cold - rather depressing
I don't remember anything about the quilt, but I don't think that I was very active in the charity auctions then.
Books, that Shane MacGowan tune was the tonic I needed to start the day. Great stuff!

I made a number of squares and auctioned them off to less able fingered forum members (I wasn't alone in doing that) and the squares alone made over £145. I am not sure who got the finished item, but I think it ended up in the USA

Fantastic weather here upper 60's today then 70's the rest of the week. Looks like I better get the fishing stuff in the car. Gotta be ready in case I come across any lakes or rivers in my travels.

yes meebo i also made and auctioned a square or 2 in the ydcs to go towards the quilt. Just wasn't around when it finally got finished. Im a member of the group where the completed quilt and wall hanging were shown in photos. I just wondered if it did ever get auctioned and how much it raised ? . It didnt mention any thing in the group about it.
