As for gout sufferers, never had it myself, but my OH has it occasionally, and so did my dad.
I am told it is very, very painful.
I think I read somewhere that raspberries are helpful in the diet, or was it cranberries?
Anyhow, sympathies are sent out to all gout sufferers.
