any advice please

Just realised that a listing has disappeared, is there any way that I can track it down. It may be some weeks since it was showing but with so many listings I did not notice that it was not there. I could start from scratch but cannot remember pricing and as I cannot see any one else selling this item, it could only be a guess.

Have you checked your auctions I ran category,sometimes they tend to fall into there,if not do you have an item title you can search for in the closed listings

Best of luck sorting it out,happened to me a few times and with over 5400 listings it took me a while to track them down but found it was my error as I had those items on a shorter run time than others listed so they were in my auctions I ran just uploaded them again and adjusted the times

Hope it works out for you sooner than later,if all else fails you can try support with item title

Thanks for your reply however I don't know how to check in closed listings but I will keep pressing buttons and hope for the best.

go to advanced search and click on closed or search closed auctions in that catagory

Can you search your emails with a key word from the listing ? If you can find the email from last time it was listed the link should be on that. If the link just says listing closed then click on the 'archive' link and you might find it in there.

Thanks for all the advice but no luck. I could see items as far back as December so I reckon this particular listing must have been way way back so I shall make guesses and hope I am right.

You did the MY EBID tab, then looked in the very left column...and found Auctions I'm Running, Closed, etc? If it's not in closed, then go to the top of the page, see the big green line with Search Ebid here..................and a tiny white...Advanced Search. Click the Advanced Search, then set your parameters.....for closed, and the type of item it was..............

With the advice I have been given I tried both options maj but still could not get any further back than December 2011, I found other listings of my own and other sellers but not the one I wanted and as it is after midnight and the old head is spinning, I admit defeat but thanks again to all of you that took the time and trouble to help.

How frustrating!! I've accidently deleted a couple of mine from time to time. IT's a pain, however they disappear into the ether.

Too bad the search doesn't go back further than a couple months..............

The search goes back further than that. I used to be able to find all items back to my first listed in 2008. It now looks as if those with the old format listing ids (e.g. 1223340499-16537-1) have been wiped, but my first with the new format (12598514) is still in the archive from 2009 - though sans images as it references my old web site.
