I have had items deleted for being a 'prohibited item' which in fact were not prohibited items but merely reported as such by someone
That has little to do with listing prohibited items. More a failure by eBid to substantiate a report before acting on it. A whole different issue (that needs addressing).

It bothers me that I work hard to do things the right way but a bot can come into my business and make changes and not let me know why. It sort of has the feeling of that other site. I came here because it seemed to be more humane here.

Well, I believe now that I was mistaken. I think that I know what I did that caused my listings to be missing. When I did have one deleted because the auction was in the wrong category, I did receive an email, but then had to recreate the listing and put it in the right category. It would have been so much easier to repost from the "unsold" or an "errors" folder than to rewrite my listing.

Wonka, I really like listing, buying, and selling on eBid. Of course, there are pros and cons to this website, just like anything in life. Welcome!

Wonka, these are minor niggles - basically the site is good. I've sold 50 items so far this month and I've sold more items each month now for over a year.
