Morning everyone,

Chilly here. I had a mild panic this morning. Lost my Debit Card! It's probably staring me in the face but I can't find it so have had to have it cancelled and a new one is coming. It has probably dropped into a box after I did some sorting yesterday. I am going to blame HerMajesty for starting it all off with this clearing, sorting and storing business.

Then I went to the bank for OH, first bank wasn't open on time and the queue was round the block so went to next little town and they were closed as well. Decided to take the dogs for a walk and Rosie ran off into some bushes and into a garden. Stood there like a fool calling and in around 10 mins she came back licking her lips. Oh dear me, it's dustbin day in the village so gawd knows what she enjoyed!

Back now and just had toast and tea then back to the sorting.

OH is serving HerMajesty this morning by doing his jury duty - his parting words were 'I wonder if I will be the foreman of the jury?' Rather sniggeringly I said 'Well I hope they realise they are in for a long wait till you make up your mind!' He's gone off, with his sandwiches and flask, on a bus for the first time in an age, we generally only take buses back to a place we are staying after a long coast or country trek when on hols.

Afternoon all,
Just a fleeting visit as the rain has put off my trip into town, so i'm going to bake up another batch of biscuits.
Listed a few new lines over the past few weeks, though in fairness i have pulled quite a bit off of ebid recently as well. Still hanging in with just over 70 lots at the moment though, so keeping a presence hoping for an upturn.

I've just unpacked my new "baby" which will interest buttons and meebo - but bore everyone else rigid (sorry)! I'm so excited - I have to tell you all anyway!

The latest addition to the family is a Singer Featherweight sewing machine. (My modern machine is a heavy girl and far too weighty to take around with me.) I've always wanted one of these and found this one very cheap! It looks like the baby and I were made for each other - as I've just checked the serial number and - would you believe - it was born some time between March and September 1953 - just like me (well I can be more exact about me - I was born in June!) I wasn't born in Scotland either - but just ended up with a Scottish surname!

She looks like this - or will do when she's been tarted up a bit!
