Does anybody use email from MSN...

Hello all

I have a question for people that use hotmail for there email account??
If you dont maybe you can still help me with a problem with my Moms
hotmail email account in the contacts...

Is there away to delete some of the contacts? My mom saw alot of porn
contacts in her contacts and she dont know how they got there and we
cant delete them. Am i over looking something?..lol

It only does this if you click the To: button.
If i go too the contacts at the bottum of the page on the left side and
click contacts it dont show any porn contacts at all.

In the contacts all are small size and the porn are in BOLD.
You can check the little box beside it but we cant get them to delete.

This is a shot in the dark: Go to Contacts and from there to Categories > Manage Categories.


edit: also try: Go to Inbox - click Contacts on the top line: Can you delete them from there?

or any of the others, Groups, Everything Else, Social Updates?

I tried what you said. I went to Manage Categories and all its for is the categories on the leftside.
It had nothing to do with the contacts...

The contact button on the leftside at the bottum.
Has no porn contacts in it. If you go to new email
and click the TO: button. It brings out like 26 porn
contacts...


I cant even find away to get hold of somebody
Through the hotmail account. I guess we are
going to keep looking to how to get hold of hotmail

This is what i think has happened. Somebody
hacked moms account and added them.

Top Right hand side, just under her name is a blue circle with a question mark - click there and it offers options including Support. You will need to work through that system.

I did the arrow by the blue circle. look at the photo. This is all i get.
I have to ask is the a new patch for hotmail?

Help was just a joke no help.
But i found the help forums...

I was able to find alittle help in the forums.
It got rid of 21 of the contacts but i got to get rid
of the last 5...

Glad you are getting it sorted. What a pain!! Remind me not to use hotmail. I use AOL and have been happy with it for years. Another good one is gmail (Google)
And another easy free one without issues like you've encountered is mail.com

Maybe she would want to think about switching email accounts to something that isn't adding things to your account!!!
