Updated US postage???

Has the site been updated for the new postal rate fees in USA? I just sold a package to United Kingdom. And although I am happy with the sale and love to ship to my overseas customers, I think the postage should be correct. I checked the ad and I had the weight correct and even charge a small handling fee. Still I lost money. Can someone please check this please?

Don't know about the international rates since I no longer ship internationally, but I know the domestic rates were updated because I just sold and shipped an item and it was correct. Have you checked one of your current items that has not sold to see if the shipping comes out correctly?

No I haven't. All domestic has been OK with me as well. Just had problem with the United Kingdom one.

Yes, USPS International Mail is not computing correctly. I just checked my shipping cost for a large envelope, weight 3 oz, handling fee of $1.25 to Australia and other global locations.

eBid shipping calculator displays a shipping cost of $4.56. Using the USPS calculator at USPS web site indicates that the correct cost with $1.25 handling would be $5.81.

It appears that the handling fee is not being added to the shipping cost.

A similar problem exists when using a letter sized envelope with a rigid insert.

Then I suggest you contact ebid support directly and let them know there is a problem. Click help at top of any page, then click contact us tab. When contacting support, give them the link to this thread so they know that more than one seller is having the same problem.

I used bulk edit to update my shipping at the end of January, not sure if eBid auto updates shipping or not, but I figured that way I'd be covered.

Agree with Ginny, if you're having issues with postage, a line to support is in order.

The postage is wrong.
The updated price is now $4.56 (not including handling charge)

OOps, this is interesting.

When you tick the large envelope option you get a page with 3 options of envelope features. If you tick any one of those you end up with international parcel prices ie $4.56

If you DON'T tick any of the 3 options and just carry on to the next page and click on First class mail, you end up with the large envelope price of $3.31

So, Gazza is correct.

Found my problem. I can no longer tick just the envelope. I will have to go to package to get the right price. Because as kozersky pointed out it is rigid and does not bend. Just have over 900 listing to update. Yikes!!! Alright all you overseas bidders. Get your bargain on postage now before I do the updates.
