Thread: How do I delete a duplicate bulk upload file

  1. #1

Question How do I delete a duplicate bulk upload file

I uploaded a file with 10 items from ninja lister and it took so long to show up that I thought my upload had failed and so I foolishly uploaded the file again...then when I checked again, I saw that that the 1st file had also uploaded. I processed the 1st upload but I can't find out how to delete the 2nd duplicate file. It is asking for a catagory and that's where it sets now...Can I delete it? How?

    Hi and welcome to eBid.

Not sure how to delete duplicates, are you sure it's necessary to delete it?

Someone who has used Ninja should be along soon to answer this. In the meantime, you may want to check out the Help videos, (click on Help at the top of the page), there is one on using Ninja Lister.

Best wishes for many sales to all,

I don't think you are allowed to charge state tax fees as you are not a business - you are an individual seller as stated on your Me Page.

I think you will find that your "We pack securely, but cannot be held responsible for uninsured items that are lost or damaged." policy will not hold water with Paypal. If the buyer makes a claim of item not received or it's damaged and can prove it, then you will lose. It's up to the seller to make sure items are shipped safe and secure whether buyer pays optional insurance or not.

If you ship to USA only, then your "NO BIDDERS OUTSIDE THE USA. NO EXCEPTIONS." policy as shown on your Me page and auction listings, is a waste of information because your items will not show up internationally anyway, only to USA members.

You will also have to remove all Ebay references on all of your listings as this is against eBid rules.

Please bid with confidence. Our feedback is excellent. Pop Culture is my only business. I get my items direct or from specialty wholesalers. I am a store owner and have been an eBay preferred seler/member since 1998.

WE DO NOT SHIP OUTSIDE THE USA. NO ""ACCIDENTAL BIDS"". NON-PAYING BIDDERS ARE REPORTED TO EBAY. WE SHIP ALL ITEMS WITH FREE DELIVERY CONFIRMATION.
    Hope this helps.

Really, have they made even using the word in descriptions forbidden now? I thought it was just live links, or putting it in the title that they'd previously objected to. Obviously the OP will need to correct it to eBid where he's talking about the current site, but references to a history of selling elsewhere is fine, surely?

You will have to go to all your duplicate listings (1 at a time) click on 'edit this listing' link, scroll to the bottom and click on the 'delete this auction' button or similar words.

That's the only way I know of so far.
