Please condense the category choices. It seems like a hit and miss when buyers are looking for something. The sellers would get alot more traffic, if the buyers didn't have so many sub categories to choose from.

That’s a very general suggestion. Some categories haven’t got enough sub categories and you either have to search (hoping you’ve got the right keywords) or wade through several thousand items; eg Collectables/Transportation/Buses has 6400 items! I suggest you are more specific with this suggestion and give some examples where categories need condensing.
The entire category structure needs reviewing and dead cats (you know what I mean! ) should be removed. It's far too big a task to expect us, the customers, to take on. The categories have been out of control for a while and need serious pruning.
dead cats...
ouch!!! lol ....

And then add to Vegetables & Fruits with a live plants and seed section. Nobody wants to go through all the seed auctions to find live plants. I plan to utilize this during next season. Thanks.
Shows there is always 2 sides to a story.
The thing is who will be responsible for setting up the correct categories ?
"The boys" seem to have spurts where they add just about every category they have been asked to add.
Perhaps we need a consultant for each major category ?
Straw-man. Nobody's suggesting all categories should go, just that the structure has become unbalanced and over-grown and needs a realistic looking at. There are sub-categories with sub-categories where there's barely a thing in there, and probably never will be. Having cats sitting empty does not look good and does not help anybody, buyers or sellers.
I guess what we all are saying is that the categories should be actively managed. Some sub-cats are dead and empty whilst others are bulging at the seams with many thousands of items in a single sub-category. I have stopped listing in some categories as there is no point in adding yet more items to a sub-cat which has over 5,000 items in it - what’s the chance of someone finding my new items?
For example :-
Home : Browse : Stamps : Great Britain : Queen Elizabeth II > Decimal is currently 8690 items.
I dont see this as a problem as I tend to search using Key Words.
But I might be missing the point.
