I'm a newbie here and just transferred some auctions over from e-bay (aren't the fees a bit much!).

Not sure how I'm supposed to promote my items, get viewers, let alone bids but thought I'd say hi!!!

Any advise on selling would be greatly appreciated.

As for selling, just give folks what they want. A bargain!

Remember this place is not ebay!!

hi and welcome just follow pink"s advice and you should be ok, try and give buyers a bargain, list as many items as you can,its free,try and keep a good and tidy page layout,if your not to sure nip and see my page lol, follow the fofum rules and just enjoy good luck and many sales to come!!

Hi and welcome aboard. ill check out your stuff and you look at my all about page. and think about other ebiders and guests when they want to see if you are a good seller or not. use the page like a good resume that will build confidence in your buyers. yes i know about the feepay highjack place and ebid is really starting to pick up so be patient and as more people find out about this place the busier we all will be. meantime start building those 5 stores that you get when you sign up for seller +. you can list so much more here without all the fees. did you know that it only cost 1buck to feature an item! like the banner check out jewleffects all about page and she has a how too page. pretty neat that these supper ebiders are so willing to help us with our business

Curious what you mean by "find out" guys lol. Can I just add I'm a she not a he....not affended tho lol.

Morning and welcome to eBid! Although I'm a USA seller I went and had a look-see at a few of your listings, etc., and came up with a few changes/tweaks you might want to make:
1. You are only offering to sell to the UK. You might consider offering to other countries for better sales.
2. The photos on your listings are "fuzzy" ... can you zero-in your camera a bit more?
3. You have nothing on your All About Me page. Try and get that updated...potential buyers are always looking!
4. Put a link to your auctions here on the forum...that way people can just click to get there quickly.
