Just invited 21 persons to Ebid via yahoo Mail.
Not one arrived.
Think we need mass advertising.
cheers Tony
I'm with you tonyreddevil. It's time ebid steps up to the plate and realizes they need to do some advertising. That article mentions ebid once and there are over a thousand words there. How many people do you think paid attention to the little off handed ebid mention, nada. And before everyone starts jumping all over me and telling me how helpful ebid is in selling tips please do not bother. I have done all the email the old customers, tweeted my fingers raw, done social networking etc. Not one customer. My glassware is competitively priced and I am probably one of the best packers around and keep shipping as low as possible. So now it's ebid's time to help the sellers and no I do not want a bumper sticker. Anyone who would suggest it, let me know how many customers you got from that T shirt or bumper sticker. lol
Well…you can always ‘’join’’ the seller cellar and you will find bunch of very nice peoples and very helpful for many things and by the way very important you can set up or join YDC Auction and in that way you can sell bunch of your items…maybe in that way you not make profit but hey…sale is the sales…and after that ‘’maybe’’ you will make nice friends who can buy from you later much more…it is very good advice ‘’believe me’’…in some way eBid works in that way for many years…so…why not try…....
That has been going on since 1996 with online auction sites... 99.9% of people will not change sites, they used to but they do not really change anymore.
Sellers think that buyers will follow them, in reality no more than 10% of a sellers buyers on one site will follow to another public online auction site.
Tis all a waste of time. Experience can and should open eyes.
This site will never get moving without a Bid Column, period(much more goes with this).
Well...at least we all ‘’chatting’’ day to day in here and many members have very nice time on that…in other way many is just ‘’forget’’ why we all in here for real…too many post threads for non auction stuff…and days & nights just passing by….passing by….....and that ''unusual'' way of business will not change for long time in the future as I can see......
