While reading this morning's issue of EcommerceBytes I found a little tidbit mentioning eBid..seems our site and only one other are doing more than other sites to make sure our listings are going to Google Shopping...thanks, Gazza and team!

Have you ever had your funds frozen by PayPal? If not, consider yourself lucky. It's one of the biggest problems eBay, Etsy and other online sellers report - having cash tied up for 3 weeks (or longer) causes serious cash flow issues for small businesses.
In Friday's newsletter, Kenneth Corbin explains that sellers may be able to do something about PayPal holds - don't miss this article, "PayPal Holding Your Funds? State Regulators Want to Know."
Another recent story published in Ecommerce Bytes also show that sellers have more control than they sometimes realize. Last week we discovered that eBay and Etsy were not doing as much as some smaller marketplaces such as eCrater and eBid to make sure listings appear in Google Shopping search results. But sellers can do something about this problem.
First, enter your product listing titles into Google Shopping's search engine and make sure your items are included in search results - if not, you can clean up your listings yourself, as I explain in this EcommerceBytes Blog post. If you're not seeing a lot of traffic from Google, it could be because you're not optimizing your listings!
Just FYI, and have a happy day today!
