I dont think they are illusive, once you sellan item ebid sends you an email, once you pay for the item you get another email, I just think ppl cannot be bothered, or think theyre gonna get away with it. Unfortunate but hey thats life,

I disagree entirely. If people had to log in to keep their auctions live, the abandoned ones would be swept clean away, Many people will be using a standard email address for multiple selling sites, so it will be checked all the time - it's just that when the ebid sale comes through they realise they haven't updated the site for months and the item was sold last year somewhere else. Make people log in to keep auctions live. It's a simple, clean and effective solution to a major problem.
