Yeah, but if you click their link it does not take you to ebid.net , it takes you to ebid.com
Yes, it should be removed
No, it should stay
Don't mind

You can’t ‘’comparison’’ eBay vs eBid because this is not even close in way of auction site (which is most important) where is person can count in the end sales and how much money will pull out from the sales…I mean not for numbers of sales I mean how much money will pull out because in the end of line this is only reason why many come on any auction site and try to make some money….In other way eBid should make ‘’comparison’’ against all other auction sites which is in same or similar positions like eBid…for about sales, cost of listing and usual stuff which offer almost all other 15 or 16 auction sites and in that way many buyers or sellers who try to not sell or buy anymore on eBay will have better picture where each person can try to sell or buy items…just get be real people and make real information and separate fact from fantasy….because ‘’fact’’ will always do better from ‘’fantasy’’…AMEN……
P.S. This is like usual only my opinion and I think of total numbers of members on eBid…for all this information about sales, the money, traffic, and usual auction site other stuff….....
I really don't like the choices.
I would say if the poll was still open the "Don't mind". But truthfully "I could careless".
Guess if it helps there self-esteem. Of course I'd prefer if ANYTHING that would help sales.
I think the ebid.com problem is over rated.
If anyone is serious about finding ebid they will soon find us.
I mean The Ranch has a popular website about a popular tv program higher up on Google and people still find the Ranch.
As I have said before we have no idea how much the owners of ebid.com would want for it and we have no idea how much cash Gazza and Mark have.
And would they be better off to put that cash into more programmers to finish off the API ?
API? What's that?
A lot of people say to get a Best/Make an offer.
I think a very good thing would be a members last login to be posted directly under there ID where ever it appears. People find there way here, and they try it for a few weeks, but then decide that it is not as good as they thought, and never comeback, but leave there listings up. If I find something I like but can see the seller has been around it 6 months maybe I'll ask them a question to see if they still have it, or are still among the living.
API stands for Application Programming Interface.
Basically it means that other programmers can make their programs interface with ebid data.
This is what allows programs such as Auctiva work with ebay.
This lack of an API is one of the main reasons we don't get many big sellers on ebid.
It is too hard for them to manage their stock and listings with our an API.
Gazza has said that they are working on one.
But its like everything in life - when ?
I can not believe top ten are still linking to ebid.com , how stupid as i originally thought something funny going on.
API is as only as good as what can be accessed by it, it has the potential of allowing us programers to add a best offer or showing bids , auto feedback etc etc but not on the main site, only on the programers sites or appz etc , but if thay are popular there is no reason ebid cant make them part of the main site.
OHH that would be so cool , ebid plugins like you get on squidoo etc.
i do hope ebid ask us programers what they would like to have in the API,
We will need a developer section on the site. come on ebid ?
