LOL! We only got about 2 inches along with some of the infamous Wyoming Wind, but not as bad as predicted. But it is as cold as a witch's. . . . . heart. I went yesterday and filled the pantry and I am planning indoor activities for awhile. I think I-80 may have been closed over the Summit, but not East of Cheyenne. Snowy Range Ski Area to open tomorrow!

Ahhhh - the bright side of things!! skiing!!! My daughter N of Denver said they had 4" of snow. And when the wind blows in WY, it has had plenty of practice and knows how to do it!!! Stay warm and safe!!!

I met a Bishop from Wyoming at one of the Queen's garden parties a while ago who told me that the difference between summer and winter in his locality was that the snow was not so deep in summer.
I think he exaggerated.

We have several inches here and we are hoping the wind stays calm! Yes roads are closed or should be. But get this our ski area has put off opening for two more weeks. The Wyoming wind has its benefits: it scares people away and our pollution blows to the next state. I love visiting more populated states but would not trade the wildlife or scenery of Wyoming for anything in the world. (especially large populations of people).
They said on the news last night that Loveland had 7.5 inches of snow!!
Tool Queen - it hasn't worked in Cheyenne. We had a bunch of Californians move in and we figured they would go home the next Spring. They're still here 2-3 years later.
