Question For Google Checkout... When do you recieve the money so I could pay my supplier?

I need to know if customer orders something and uses Google Checkout, when do i get the money to use and pay right away to my suppliers and ship the item out to them? You see i don't have cash on hand at all. I dropship from my suppliers, so i just need to know when will i get the money the customer paid?

    Thanks

PS. Do you get funds quicker with paypal or google? So i could use the money to ship the item?

Google automatically transfers the money to your bank account. I think it is within a week but you may to check something in your account. Someone who knows for sure will be chimeing in soon.

Welcome to ebid and I hope you have many sales!

You'll find that on these forums, and on many other forums, that lots of people think that dropshipping is just one step away from selling your soul to the devil.

Best to just ignore them. Lots of folk dropship and as long as you do it right and keep on top of your out of stocks then you should be fine.

On the other hand, dropshipping when you don't have any money to pay your supplier is a spectacularly bad plan. You should always make sure that you've got enough cash at hand to pay for a few orders - bearing in mind that you might get an item returned at which point you'll have to refund your customer but your dropshipper may not refund you (depending on their T&Cs).

Then you really will have problems ahead.

As for when you get paid, it depends on your payments schedule (which can be modified from your account). In the UK it could be weekly, fortnightly, 14 days from receipt, or monthly - this might be different in the US.
