  1. #1

Default So who won the prize?

    I see Gazza has posted,

So I think that makes it official
So who won the prize for the 5, 000,000 listing?
Was there a prize for the 5,000,000 listing?

I remember there was a request from HQ for ideas for a suitable prize... as M & G were reluctant to give away $5000 -- but don't know the outcome of the discussion....

Yeah, I seem to recall that as well. I certainly hope they are not thinking of giving away 5K. Far better uses they could put it to (even if it's taking their best girls somewhere special).

Agreed ... but then having given away $4000 after the 4,000,000 listing ... it would be strange to give away nothing at all for the 5,000,000???

I think it's bit much as well exspecting them to give away 5 grand as well, maybe they should decide now on a set figure for each mile stone if they are going to carry on doing it. If it carry's on at this rate they will be buying new cars for people, Just my opinion for what it's worth make it 2 grand a time.

I don't really see why they need to do anything. They did a couple of landmark giveaways to encourage listings, and they did what they did and now we're here - new game.

    Agree with you Kim.
I think that the influx of new sellers really don't give a fig how many listings will award them a prize.
They just want to list their goods here and away from t'other place.
If the lads do have 5K to spend, and I doubt it - I'd rather 5K be spent on a wee bit of advertising instead of giveaways.
