Thread: Duplicate auctions

  1. #1

    Default Duplicate auctions

I have posted over 16000 items to one of my stores, each one an individual item, no duplicates, but for some reason
I have received an email saying that many were duplicates and wanting me to post them under multi-auction
even though they were not duplicates.
I spent 3 days full time getting my items categorized to your categories, even though , for book sellers anyway, they are not too standard.
Please re list my items at once.
Lastly, I was asked for identification from ebid, even though I paid with PayPal and have PayPal and Google checkout.
You think I am not who I say I am ? My domains have been registered for over 10 years in my name.
If I wanted sloppy customer service I could have stayed with ebay where I started in 1997.

I suggest you take the time to read eBids rules.

This is not a cutting comment, only a polite suggestion.

IF the items are NOT duplicates the TITLE must reflect it.

Just looking at the first page of your listings I found
100 of the Worlds Greatest Recipes listed twice, the only difference I could see between the two copies was price.

Please remove the links to your eccomerce sites from your post, or you risk your posts being removed.
Links on the forums may only be to your eBid items, or
sites that don't have items for sale.

You'll also have to remove your domain name from your shop banner and from your descriptions or they'll all go again.

Don't some people just endear themselves to you from the first instant?

Hi - you can find a lot of very helpful info if you click the help button top right of any page, then look in the left column for FAQ's and helpful videos. Gives all the ins and outs of what is and isn't allowed listing-wise, etc, so it will help keep your listings and stores visible. Astral and bykimbo have very helpful Threads....probably on the buy and selling forum (approx name). Life is easier if you do your homework first and learn how the site works before expending a lot of effort, then finding you need to redo things. Good luck................I hope you do well here. Best if you heed all the above advice sooner than later!!

    A) I have spotted a number of dup listings
    B) you are selling high priced items hence the extra information required by ebid

I am sure once you have sorted all the problems with your listings, about me page and store banners things will be fine

I see some of your images have your domain name on them too, that will need to be removed, you also seem to have many items in the wrong categories.
Books should be listed under the book categories.
Here is the link to the listing rules.

Why Do many members come to Forums only to complain, then do not come back to post to their thread/s again... very annoying.
A feebay attitude should be left at ebids door before entering.
