    Default Again...nobody spoke of....

    Well...as anybody can see without big advertising all around is very hard to broke out...any by the way anybody can see how much this ''monster'' spend for advertising in only 4 months...and like I say to catch all advertising and let people to know we need probably two times higher fees for everything from this ''monster''...and still not good news at all for eBay but no awail for others auction sites all around because nobody take advantage of that ''yet''......

    I was going to say scambay errr sorry ebay are cutting thier own throat but thats not strictly true, they know exacvtly what they are doing .. kicking to the kerbside whose that lifted them to where they are now.

    If and its a big IF more sellers left, the many buyers there would not necessarily buy the higher priced new items and they would also leave.. but as I and many others know we stay because sales are faster and we need the income, the down side being that the scammers are more plentiful and the fees are rising cutting any profit to bare bones minimum.

    Yes, this is now the time for ebid to reach out and grab some of ebays market for itself but i doubt if anything will be done which in iteself is very sad .

    But still nothing changes…134 Millions vs 4,6 millions listed item is big big big differences…and many buyers know that and still shop on eBay because many buyer’s don’t know for existence of eBid because of advertising…In the end my personal opinion after all If eBid goes with eBay in same time long time ago with fees and with big advertising around 2000-2001 and not keep raising fees for everything like eBay I wonder this days will be eBay still where is now...(very big business chances in that time just pass by…)…AMEN…...

    in 2003 i joined ebid i was spending upto 18 hours a day going around sites plugging it trying to bring in buyers and sellers to ebid , in 2008 i gave up totally due to reasons best not discussed , and to this day feel not enough advertising comes through from management , you don`t need spend millions on advertising , you need to think and plan

    @Dzambo
    I like your new avatar.

    Ebid need to target some of those ebay sellers to come over to ebid and stay here for a year. To get ebid listings up to say 20 million.
    But first they probably need to release an api.
    Another problem is that ebid's traffic (Alexa rating) has been going down for the last 3 months.
