Will try setting up another new listing and see where I get to this time - could do with better onscreen instructions for dumbos like me.
Take heart, you are not alone!
I lose all brain when I leave my (very limited) comfort zone
I only recently discovered how to add International shipping to my listings and I still don't know how to send a personal message

That sound as if you are trying to list the item under a secondary category at the bottom of Section Four of the listing form:

    Name: aa.jpg
Views: 50
Size: 56.3 KB

Unless you mean the listing to appear (at cost) under a second category, you don't need to complete that bit. If you do want the item listed under two categories, then the second category must be different from the one you selected when you started the listing. It is illogical for the second category to be the same as the first - which is likely why the system is objecting and preventing you doing it.

astral you are wonderful - I had not noticed that it was ticked - have actually managed to list one item now.
Is there a quicker way of loading photos to my gallery - am doing them one at a time and it's awfully slow?
Honestly, you'd think I'd never used ebid before it's a shame really, I used to have quite a good brain!

You can bundle multiple images into a ZIP file and upload the lot in one go to your My Gallery area. See http://www.mootango.webspace.virginm...idkb.htm#a0049 if you are not familiar with ZIP files.

OK, slowly getting the hang of it again - but please could someone take a quick look at one of my listings to see if I'm doing it right, missing anything obvious or just generally being a muppet? Many thanks.

groan .... have sooo many to list but looked at the bulk upload thingie and backed away in fear......

Your listings look good to me and I must say you are very talented indeed, your jewelry is beautiful! I wish I had a bit more talent in the crafts department, as I love jewelry and I'd love to be able to make myself something, but sadly I'm all thumbs.

Oh and welcome back from a fellow jewelry lover.

Bestt wishes for many sales to all,

oh thank you so much - am feeling my feet again in the hope that there are now more buyers than when I left a year or so ago - fingers crossed some Christmas shoppers may come out soon.

right - coffee, food and back to listing - wish I was rich and could pay someone else to list for me!

I'd let the kitties do my listings, but they're a little heavy in the claws department.

Best wishes for many sales to all,

Hi Ruth, I remember you joining about the same time as me. Welcome back. I have stuck with it and I am getting regular sales (don't tell Sgt Major Cornish though).

Glad you are strating to work out some of the new ideas, once you get back in the swing of things, those listings and hopefully sales will soon mount up.
