Hi Tony , I might be wrong , but I think the £250 was a one off last year ? ...it was always £200....papa.
if we have had the extra for 3 years ? , my missus has been making a fortune.....honestly can not remember...I did think it was just last year......papa.

Has there always been two tiers? I used to get it on behalf of my sister, and it was 250 each year it was paid to me following our mother's death.
If the two tier system is new, they are probably giving more to the most vulnerable (i.e. the very old) and less to the others. Using the same money, but targeted.
