I just got back from walking my dog in the park.

The wind was sooooo damn cold.

I had a t-shirt, thick wooly jumper, and my jacket and was still cold.
When I got home, my hands were white because of Renaulds syndrome.

Yet there was a bunch of kids there in park (all looked to be around 10 - 12 year olds), sitting on the damp grass, all wearing t-shirts and shorts!

Wrapped up my self today when went for a walk over the fields , met this old girl with a T/shirt on and barelegs with no socks , the locals really show up us incommers as they call us.

Its very cold here in Surrey... my grandaughter was running around in shorts and Tshirt ( she'd just been playing NetBall tho ) lol

It's absolutely freezing here - and apparently the gritters are out in the Borders. But these days if I want to gauge how cold it is, I look out the window for "normal" people as opposed to school kids, who'd be out in T shirts and shorts and it could be 20 degrees below freezing!

Oh lordy, it's soooooo cold.
What happened to global warming and the ice caps melting?
The only thing melting around here are the candles .... (OH does like to economise on energy!)
The only thing warming is my feet, in two pairs of fluffy socks, on a hot water bottle.
As for the ice caps, they are being worn by quite a few bods - I don't see any signs of melting just yet.

Dunno about last night, but it was certainly freezing this morning.

The winter gloves were broken out for today's dog walk. Should have seen it coming though, the road gritters were out in Alloa last night. And there's now snow on the mountain tops visible from Stirling city centre.

The snow's coming a wee bit further south and falling a little bit lower with each week that passes.

Mind you, it's taken it's time. The first winter snowfall of this season in the HIghlands was on August 27th

Kids don't tend to feel the cold as much as we do! I think it's because they have smaller bodies - better circulation than us!!
