There's an even bigger German satellite due to come down in October. The chunks from that one which survive re-entry are likely to be a lot bigger - so it is written.

Last night's falling junk is supposed to have come down but NASA apparently don't know where. Unless they are lying to avoid thousands of people stampeding toward it.
