Well the wind has settled (I'm talking weather here...) but it's drizzling a bit. When it stops I'll venture out into the garden and retrieve my flower pots from all over the place!

    Morning

A big mug of tea, please meebo. The wind and rain was deafening again last night, so feeling a bit bleary eyed at the moment. I think everything's OK after a surprise loss last night, but have replaced already

    Have all a good day.

got the same problem here as well.... our runner beans have done a runner..... well have fallen over, and I have lost two of our 3 fennel "stalks".... I think I can save them as they are still rooted in the ground.... but as they stand over 7 foot tall this year staking them back up could be a problem

Yesterday filled the green bin by hacking back the clematis - it was about a foot thick and tumbling over everything ... and I did the same in February - they must like a rough haircut as they were spectacular again this year. Hope to get the grass cut today or tomorrow before the weather turns wet again... but another coffee first I think lol

Glad the kettles on Meebo, have to prepare to go & sort the beans out that will be fun.

They are talking on the radio about people complaining that the fishing sea side places smelt of fish & complained that there was seaweed on the beach, what do people expect.

    Morning folks.
Yes I read the newspaper article about the angry holiday maker who was deeply offended about the smell of fish in the working harbour. He was upset that his children has seen crates of dead fish on the quay side,,,,,,,,,,,,,muppet!

Well there's something very fishy going on around here. It's been deadly quiet around my shops for the last few days. I wonder if those newbies are plotting something (she said hopefully) the ceasefire is making me nervous ! Maybe Private Ntings has lured them away for a spot of fishing ?!

Really pleased, my old school friend from Australia will be back in Bath tomorrow so hopefully we can spend a bit more catch up time together as last time was so rushed. Really looking forward to it.
