    Default Paying a Combined Invoice

I have bought 4 items from the same seller and requested a combined invoice, which they have provided. However, when I go to PayPal to pay the invoice it reverts to the total amount the 4 items would have cost if bought individually. Has the seller done something wrong or is it me? (I am new to ebid!)

No, I don't think either of us have done anything wrong and sounds more like a glitch in the payment system

    - I sent the orginal combined P&P invoice to myself and as you stated, the eBid invoice reads okay but then seems to hiccup in PayPal for some odd reason by reverting back to the unrevised version!

I've sent you the invoice again using my old approach before eBid created the "Do not allow Buyer to edit postage" -- and the invoice should display the discounted P&P total and hopefully this will translate okay in PayPal. As requested in my Q&A reply, if they're still showing up wrong, let me know and I'll send a Money Request direct via PayPal.

I've looked in the forum and can't see anyone else with this glitch so maybe just a one off? I might just create a post to eBid admin to check it out just in case.

Have a great weekend, Nicola. Hope the invoice is okay!

Just a thought, have you still got this box ticked in your PayPal Account.

I've never even edited this page in PayPal . it's currently unticked. Am I supposed to tick it or not? btw- I revise P&P within eBid's invoicing system.

Also previous buyers have been able to successfully pay the correct discounted amount when I don't tick the newly added option of 'Finalise invoice' and request buyer to select the default postage on all items, so whether it's a glitch with the 'Finalise' option or my bringing the service away from default upto Signed For, (or both!), who knows?

Your invoice reads ok (as last time) but now the PayPal invoice reverts to show no postage charges at all!

Hi Nicola - I've ticked that little box on PayPal to see if it makes any difference (not sure why it should all of a sudden unless it's a new preference) @ 10:46am. See if that also makes a difference to the instruction prompt left in Q&A reply just.

If all else fails, I shall send a Request direct.

    Cross fingers!

There may be a glitch somewhere. See thread in the Website Glitches forum: http://www.ebid.net/forums/showthrea...al-translation
