sorry forgiveness is not part of my vocabulary if it come to someone delibrately doing something like that, an eye for an eye, he has taken away something so precious from that family, 14 years against a lifetime of hell for the family, what punishment is that for the killer.

I wouldn't mind if they did the full 14 i.e. truth in sentencing, but that's rarely the case & you'll probably find he'll be out in 7.
Life term, should mean what it says. I can assure you I would sleep soundly in my bed.
