    Default Blurry Picture

I just listed my first auction. The picture is horrible. I have used this photo online before and it has never looked like this. Any suggestions other than the explanation that I posted with my auction?

    Hi and welcome to eBid.

Could it be that your pic is being stretched somehow to fit the size limit?

Best wishes for many sales to all,

I just saved your pic to my computer then clicked on properties. It is only 2KB in size - have you reduced it too much maybe?

A small, compressed format picture (like a JPEG) will always look blurry when it is enlarged.

The image on the page is much smaller than the preview image, so the preview is the enlarged version.

Using a larger image will decrease the problem.

Oh dear oh dear. Please accept my advice as very friendly - your Me page is a total turn off for me. It conveys lack of professionalism. Dump the woe is me Ebay did the dirty on me story. Most of us members know about Ebay and it's treatment to many of us. A buyer is really not interested in your ill treatment and will be put off.

Write a positive image of yourself ie *I have been selling online for XXXX years and am delighted to have found eBid to further my successful sales* etc etc. Something along those lines plus some terms and conditions of sales would help as well.
