Yardseller and Overstock.com advertised on eBid

I know we have gone round and round on this subject and we were told by Admin Penny Auction sites are looked upon as gambling and are not in anyway eBid's competition.
In the Forums this morning I noticed Yardseller and Overstock.com ads either of which are Penny Auction sites but are in fact eBid competitors.
Are these ads really necessary to have on eBids site?

I think the kind of ads you are referring to come from a stream and eBid do not have direct editorial control over them.

Gazza has stated in the past that if inappropriate ads are seen on the eBid site to notify admin and they will block them (if they agree with the complaint).

Just before you responded I noticed 3 ads selling Gibson guitars which is something I sell also. I don't recall Gazza stating to notify them as we see inappropriate ads but I can do that.
I have been lurking the forums and keeping watch on how the site is going and haven't listed anything in a while (just my cymbal repair listing remains currently). With the amount of work eBid folk put into this site it kind of bothers me to see competitors able to advertise here. Curiosity is a human nature and folks are bound to click on some of the links just to have a look and if they like what they see who knows, they may join other sites and eventually opt out of eBid.
When I get a chance I'm going to search some categories at a few of these sites to see if I can identify some familiar names who have started here and left just to get a feel for these ads to see if they may possibly be hurting eBid.
