Sorry you haven't been well Brian, I hope you will get better, you have my sympathy, I have ongoing health issues myself. it's very frustrating when you do all you can and the mind is willing but the body has other ideas lol
Made me laugh about the legless bit though! Well, you're still a true pro' getting up and doing a brilliant show, being brave and acting cool ( then going home and suffering after!)

Adrumi you made my day posting this, its one of my faves of theirs anyhow but THIS particular one of all the ones they did on the no quarter album and tour is the one that blew MY mind. You gotta hand it to these boys NOBODY can replace Bonham as we've said before, Im an ardent die-hard fan of his. Yet they go and find the best hand picked musicians from around the globe. The Egyptian and Marakesh lot just really gave it a completely new dimension. Their percussion sound absolutely blew me away! It was bewitching, haunting, exciting, invigorating just outstanding excellence! I went to see Plant and Page in London when they played there in the mid 90s.
I had a recording of this show on video, I was addicted to it, ESPECIALLY this track. But had no table to put the video recorder on at the time. One day I accidentaly wiped 40 minutes of it (by my toe!) with my stupid clumsiness. I was so heartbroken (ok some might say its only a bloody music tape but musics always been my 1st love) I never watched it again. But got me thinking now, the recordig of this would be available to buy (maybe on here too!) and still got youtube.
Thanks very much Adrumi. love you more for for this! Mwah x

    Sensible man Spyder!
Thankfully didnt do a lot of the waccy baccy either, it never agreed with me really nor I with it lol (must be my upbringing) but I did try it for a couple of years in my early 20s then just stopped. Tobacco is another story, I was very foolish there, but been 'clean' for over 5 years now. Also had a 10 year dry spell before I started and stopped again. My name should've been Silly

Years ago sitting in my favorite pub/bar/OTB I heard a song playing on their random player. Never heard it before though it was rather corny but a catchy tune. I wanted to have it for my "easy listening" portfolio. I asked around the bar and nobody knew the song or who sang it. Near as I could tell it sounded like Neil Sadaka so I started listening to clips of his songs and couldn't find it. Months later the song played again but this time the bartendress knew the song and who sang it. Turns out it was Sonny and Cher's "Baby Don't Go". I finally got it into my computer and in turn onto a CD I could play in the car.

    Listen to this one first.....then

I decided to go on line and see if I could find a live version. I didn't find one but what I did find was absolutely amazing. Dwight Yokam and Sheryl Crow did a remake and it is phenominal.

Been there, done that (waccy baccy) and moved on about 20 years ago, alcohol consumption minimal these days d/t IBS, unfortunately the tobacco is still around, have to seriously kick myself for starting in high school, hopefully the kids nowadays know better than that.

    Rock on,

Wow, that's outrageous, around $2.50 a pack here in baccy country. I remember when they were $1 a pack in NY way back when...

    Rock on,
