    @HotToys

    Anyway, welcome to ebid.
You have just the sort of stuff we need to give ebid a better selection.
So I hope you do well.
I see that most of your listings are RUS - have you thought about changing them to auctions for 7 days and say 10 auto-relists.
That way they will rise up the browsing lists and may get seen more

WOW!! Seems a little harsh here....I can see your point and the point of ebid however, when our Products sit and sit with little to no views, no sales, I can understand where Sellers may want to place the same item elsewhere. What happens if one of my items sell, I only have the one and "Darn" I broke it while packing and buyer and I agreed to cancel, refund his/her money....Sale is not consummated, should I be still charged a Final Value Fee?

This happened twice when I was on "that other place", having high hopes still (even though I've not sold anything) for eBid. I had no problem refunding thru PayPal and getting my Final Value Fee back from "That Place" and PayPal.

As a quick follow-up...this just happened.

My daughter went to my site and started to buy a candle....She registered, clicked on buy now but when she got to check out, didn't know I only offered PayPal & Google as payment options (which she doesn't have either one) and exited my store. She DID NOT finalize sale.

She gets a email from ebid of her "Purchase" and I get a email that I "Sold" a candle. Plus, I'm charged a 2% Final Value Fee. Now, I can't find an answer to what do I do Now? HELP!! My daughter will understand and trust me but anyone else doing this will think I'm trying to force the sale down their throats and be pretty P...... Off.

First off, eBid don't allow trading between family members so please don't do either of you try it again or both your accounts could be suspended.

Your daughter DID finalise the sale, she just hasn't paid for her purchase. Clicking on Buy Now and then clicking again to confirm the purchase finalises the sale - you'll find it works the same way on eBay when using BIN. The confirmation pop-up doesn't ask if you're sure you want to put the item into your shopping cart, it asks if you're sure you want to BUY it.

Neither PayPal nor Google Checkout require the payer to hold or even open an account with them to use their services, they just need them to have a credit or debit card so no problem there.

    How old is your daughter.
Why would she buy a candle from her fathers site ?

BIN now means Buy It Now.
If someone clicked on my BIN and did not pay me I would be upset.

You will have to learn to work with auction sites rules. If you stuff up, it not their fault.

As reqards to "What to do now"

I would just forget it ebid have taken their 2% fee and your daughter will not have to pay you as you are her father. I would just treat it as a lesson.

And tell her to be careful when she clicks on things!

You were fortunate on those occasions that the buyer agreed to cancel the transaction.
On the bay, if the buyer refuses to cancel the transaction, you would still be charged a fvf./

On those occasions, the buyer is entitled to leave you whatever feedback they want, and get you marked down for non-performance, and if they refuse to cancel the transaction, then yes, you should be charged a final value fee.
Ebid would still have upheld their side of the deal - had your item showing on their site for sale - and it is not their fault that you broke the item.
Nor does it matter that you had no problem refunding thru paypal - an item sold, the buyer didnt receive it therefore the buyer would get refunded thru paypal if they open a dispute.
