Default Escrow and how it works

I am new to e-Bid and am wondering how the escrow system works. If I am a seller, is there a way to choose upfront whether or not I am willing to use this service? Can I choose not to? If I use PayPal, there is already a ton of security in place and they are sometimes difficult enough to deal with for no apparent reason, so I don't know how I feel about yet another layer. On the other hand, I want to start out on the right foot with a potential buyer, so I'd rather be up front rather than getting bad feedback because escrow becomes an issue after the sale has been made.

Don't worry about it unless you sell very high priced items.

Paypal is by far the most used option on ebid as everywhere else.

So just get listing and have fun !

    Welcome to ebid.

If you do not offer escrow on a listing then a buyer cannot insist on it after. They can ask (preferably before bidding/buying), but you are not obliged to agree to it. If they then refuse to complete because you do not agree - they are at default.

You are not clear what you are referring to, but if it is the PPPay escrow service, then simply do not select it as a payment option on your listings.
