Default Problem When Tweeting Listings to Twitter!

When tweeting book listings to Twitter via the "tweet" button on our listings, whenever I have a book I want to tweet the "default" verbage that eBid admin has set in to the tweets is sucking the majority of room for putting in text of our own...example:

As you can see, eBid is putting in the ISBN number which takes up what little space we have to put in our own text....WHY? If this has been done on a 'default basis' by eBid please reconsider and give us those 13 precious spaces...we can use them. Can't this be removed by eBid?

Next question/suggestion: where it says on eBid United States... please admin can you default that so it would read on eBid USA ... this would give us a few more spaces to work with.

    Just my two cents...thank you!

You can edit it as you wish but yeah I see your point: too many characters need editing.

I like the inclusion of the ISBN I think it's a smart move - but just type over it or delete anything you don't want.

Sure I can backspace out what I don't want and then type stuff in, but why should we have to deal with the nuisance? I personally don't think the ISBN has any pertinent relevance when tweeting, and as for the eBid United States, those in the United Kingdom have their tweets reading eBid UK ...............aaaaaaaaaaaaaack!!!

I think the answer to "why should we have to deal with the nuisance" is "because not everybody thinks it's a nuisance". And forget plodding through backspace, just sweep your cursor over the stuff you don't want, to highlight, and delete the lot in one go.

USA and UK would be fine by me - no need to have it in full. No need to have it at all, as far as I'm concerned - it's supposed to be global.

...and not everyone think it's great Point dismissed. The whole thing is not a huge problem. ebid staff have other more important things to work on.
