Can't access my Groups

Hi Gazza,
I am not able to access the groups I am a member of, nor can I access the group I moderate.
I also can't join groups. The system tells me there are none to be joined.
I have logged out of the forums and logged back in to see if the problem would correct itself. Logging out did not fix the problem.

I run on Windows XP
and am using Mozilla Firefox

This issue is has been discussed in several threads. You will probably get furthest by going directly to G&M. Seems groups were dismantled. Perhaps if they hear directly from enough members, a formal response will emerge.

Just to throw a spanner... I'd be quite happy to see them go. The forums provide everything I need here and any social group could be a forum or thread frankly.

I benefited much from the groups I was in. I think I helped people too. I'd prefer to have the groups back, but I'm able to change with the times as necessary. I can also find info outside of ebid to help me with questions that people can't answer in forums. Just makes it a bit more cumbersome.

I wonder when they will be cleaning up our profiles then? I suppose when they have the time to. Have a great weekend people.

It would be nice to have the archives of the groups info. It would be advantageous to download the info to my computer. I referenced much information repeatedly from the groups.

Hurrah! I went in and posted on two of them! :-) It does seem like it will be a bit difficult to breath life back into the groups. But here's hoping!

I agree, this is great news! I get a great deal of info from groups and I find information faster too. Where as the forums... many topic titles are so generic such as, "Can you help me please?", that it's difficult to sift through these "topics" and find what I'm looking for. I'm so happy the groups are back!
