I'm with you, Buttons, as regards the heat/humidity - been at work all day and I could hardly drag myself in through the door when I got home.

Got some new listings up yesterday and have a few more in the pipeline. A quiet evening tonight soaking my feet ........

What a hectic day ! At last I can sit down for five minutes. My two babies ... um I mean cadets ... have packed their kit bags and headed off for Japan this evening. It's going to be sooooo quiet here without them. I just hope they don't go falling asleep at Rome airport and miss their connecting flight.



Permission to keep worrying for the next two weeks Captain Jewels ma'am ? Oh and it might help if I spent a little more time inspecting the state of the floor boards in the mess.

I am sure they will be fine. I can't imagine anyone falling asleep at Rome airport. They'll be far too busy traipsing arouind trying to find out where they have to go next.
And now a lovely good morning! The sun is shining, and I have done a tour of the garden. Lots to do today - the children are moving in Not that their 'apartment' is finished, but no more workmen from outside the family. I have made coffee and tea and hopefully breakfast will be a twosome affair again very soon - a reason to celebrate at the weekend

Morning troops! Another glorious day - although there are rumours from the weather men that it may be the last for a bit - we'll see.

Japan - how lovely. I 'd love to go there. A great place for patchwork fabric - but I don't suppose the Cadets will be interested in that! I hope they have a fabulous time.

Off to market now - hopefully there will be tourists!
