I have nothing against handbags.

In fact I think ebid should be selling far more handbags than we do.
Its just that handbags are known as being a favorite items for fake manufacturers.

Thanks for replying Julie, the handbags i have on sale are faux leather, not designer but are good quality, trendy and very attractive, I think lol

your right about ebid needing more bags, im more than willing to plow in moreif these ones sell, i have a few more to list. I havent opened the selling up to overseas not because i dont want to post overseas but i didnt think handbags would be something people would want to buy from abroad as most country's have plenty of great bags to buy in thier own country, what do you think

Your position is the same as what most of us are in.
If more items sold, we would list more and vice versa.

Ebid is growing steadily and looks really good on the PSU Auction Count chart at the moment.
All we can do is keep listing and promoting ebid to try get get more buyers to look on ebid first.

I tend to agree with your thoughts on overseas sales for your bags.


Otherwise te other side will keep putting up their fees and bringin in more anti-seller polcies.

And this is ‘’business as usual’’ because if many seller’s put for sale not branded names is not going to make sale that much likes if many seller’s put in branded name fake items...many buyer’s brain always works in the same way and many seller's know that exactly and this is reason for:
Regular any item not branded name=cheap….not much sale…
Branded name fake item= cheap….much more sales…..
AMEN…….....

I think with handbags woman either want the real thing as in designer expensive lol or one designed similar but not the same and not fake passed off as real, i always buy non branded handbags as long as they are good quality and of a style i like/want/need etc.. because i wont ever pay silly money for a bag and i think most of us girls out there feel the same. Although if you have the money and want to have a particular designer brand then go for it
I think im waffling now lol I just want my bags to sell, i will have to plug them a bit i think

Julie i cant find them in google shopping unless i type in say pink shoulder bag ebid if i leave ebid off i cant find them

Hey,
I have just joined eBid and thought I would say Hi.
I am about to start a selling campaign, sent my money to my supplier in Korea today, and had presumed to sell on Ebay. However, got an email yesterday about their increased seller charges and thought 'No Way!', so I looked for an alternative and here I am. Ebay's latest charges are a killer for me - 10% of selling price + insertion fees kind of takes a lot off the profit margin!!
I think I will start an chain email campaign - 'Don't Ebay, eBid!!'. I will send it to all my contacts, and ask them to pass it on. Spreading the word is a must - I hadn't heard of eBid before today, so I imagine most other people are the same.
I'm really optimistic that I have found a great product, that is currently unavailable in the UK, but, unfortunately is for a specialised market. I will have to push my auctions on various forums etc, but hopefully, it will all work out!
Now I am off for a look see round the current auctions......

Same here , i just joined yesterday and got one of the items im selling listed , with more to come , ebay has gotten so terrible , buying is ok , but selling is outrageous . so i hope to get a good start over here and maybe , just maybe ill be able to quit working off shore on the tug boats . i just hope there are enough members and new members looking to buy items at great prices and see if it works out over here . well , for now , hope every one does well over here . see ya.

Welcome to ebid! I hope you enjoy the experience.
There is lots of help available through the forums so have a good luck round
A lot of us have moved across from t'other site for the same reasons.
A lot easier paced over here,very freindly and helpful, sales a bit slower but it ain't costing anything to list and re list so get cracking!!And drop your items into shops which you can set up. Lots of info available to help
