    I'm puzzled (doesn't take much !) how can it be a proof of posting receipt if it doesn't have the address on it ?

    If it's sent by recorded delivery then the address is printed on the receipt but if I send standard and ask for proof of posting the woman in the post office always writes on the house number and postcode for me.
    Well I think its obviously ME who is being the dimwit!
    I will have to make sure they do this in future as my local post office knows I always want a proof of posting and didnt know this should have the house no. and postcode on it - We live and learn.
    JUst hope the post office either dliver to the lady or return it to me soon, the poor customer is waiting.

    Still having a problem with my Book too, bet its the same seller, First I thought he may be on hols & forgot to put his
    notice up but then searched him out on Amazon, Eb@Y,
    Greenmetropolis, Too many books & too many sites.

    I have now messaged him to all his sites, cancelled my order and sent him the link to my previous thread.
    Really annoying, Every new customer that is lost by a bad experience is lost to us all and potentially give ammo to all those
    "have you tried EBID " threads that keep coming up on Eb@y

    2nd thoughts doubt it is the same seller but it could be, Just annoyed.

    Yes you want to make sure it's written on otherwise it's not proof it could be a parcel to anywhere ! Hope your parcel turns up in the end.

    Agree with the above; unless the seller is on holiday, (in which case there should be a holiday notice posted), there's no reason why they shouldn't have answered your questions/nudges long before this. Definitely report this to eBid so they can look into the situation.

    I suspect it is the same seller, they have a huge stock listed across the major sites
    I'm not home at the moment, I'll report them when I return.
    Wonder what ebid will do?

    Agree 110%. Support has been known to remove non-performing sellers from the site.
