From MSE Forums - anyone tried ebid?

I re-read the thread and soolin has posted that anyone would be stupid to use the same ID on multiple platforms.

Why stupid?...I want people to find me on-line...it's a lot easier to find someone if they use the same ID.

I think it is very odd that the MSE soolin has been on eBid for 8 years or so and so is the one that comes up in the search

soolin is on the board of Ebay.i have read it on MSE forums.Thats why he or she is negative about Ebid

the 1st time Ive everlooked at there forums, why not use the same name or are they ashamed to be give there names, & certain we have as many from the UK as from abroad on the forums,

it's such a shame to see whats going on here, I'm sorry but if your gonna start arguing over there, your doing nothing more then giving ebid a bad rep, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and I agree go and give yours

We all know that ebid is not for everyone, and that your not going to make massive money here, that it is a lot slower then ebay ect ect, if your happy with how it is ticking over for you here say that. but post in a postivie way, and what it has done for you not in an argumentative way

I only saw attacks against ebidders and several opinions on both sides

Then i see it differently, I read soolin's reply (being the 2nd person to reply to the OP) then see others jump in and put her down for what she posted and these being ebidders, I have however seen some great posts from some ebidders that have posted what and how they done/doing here and imo thats what they wanna read.

Maple join it, it's quite a good site, have used it many a time for information or if i needed info, was only through that site that prompted me to get my son to raise issues about his ppi, he managed to get over a thousand pounds back from his bank.

I agree Shezz, their forums have a great deal of useful information about many topics, & I do read them fairly frequently, unfortunately they do also seem to have a lot of regular posters there who come across as being very judgemental, hence I have never bothered to join the site.

I didn't read this particular thread, I doubt it's any different than any of the others over the years, I seem to remember HannaHolly tried to get a proper discussion re eBid on there, some years back, but had the same sort of problems (I think with the same poster) then.
