We have drizzle today - if it is going to rain I wish it would do it properly as the garden is desperate for water!

    The smoothie sounds delicious!

Morning all..... it's been lashing it down (on and off) all night here.... I'm glad we went to the Pagent yesterday and didn't wait til today as it looks like the rain has set in for the day.

you may remember last week Pam and I had to go to a funeral.... it was for a woman who Pam had got to know VERY well during her Chemo etc (but we knew her slightly beforehand) but the Cancer got the better of her :-( Chris was a great supporter of the Pagent and just before the main event the organisers held a 1 minuet silence in her memory... then at the end of it they fired off all 5 cannons one after the other then all the muskets and the Medieval re-enactors banged their swords/ spears against their shields. Thats what you call a send off. Merry Meet, Merry Part and Merry Meet Again Chris

Yes yesterday was a bit moving as it was at the pagent many years ago that we 1st meet Chris. but it was a lovely way to mark her passing.

Before that we wander around catching up with friends, & then got talking to foke others who sell on the markets & on the dark side. so N manged to use the opertunity to tell them about this site so hopefully they may join us, hopefully they will come & look at it next week.

At least wont have to water for 24hrs thank goodness.

Morning - feeling shattered. Dog woke me up at 3 am, 6am and again at 7am grrrrrr - feeling completely washed out and fit for nothing.

A pottering day I think ~ perhaps going through the items I brought back from my father's and maybe photographing, etc. Nothing toooo strenuous

OMG - What is all this wet stuff ? I'm not used to this any more !

Private Meebo I hope you have transfered my special ingredient to the smoothie as that sounds really nice ?

Now the audacity of some people, there was me happily displaying a lovely piece of studio pottery for window shopping and then the potter himself goes and nicks it back !!! I see HQ tried to stop them by putting a line through their name ( probably means they won't bother to come back ! ) but it was too late they had already paid.

Pleased to see that Lieutenant Maplegin and Corporal Somerset have been spreading the word we need to put a boost under the recruitment figures.

    Bit late to say good-morning!

Couldn't sleep last night so took the opportunity to list a few more knitting patterns.

What a brilliant send off for your friend Corporals Somerset and Maple; my OH has decided he wants the sound of his vintage Motorcycle roaring off as his funeral finishes. I don't know about that but, if that is what he wants when the time comes, then so be it. I'd be too sad to listen so might have to go and sit in the car! Typical of him though, sign off with a laugh.

Sounds like you and I were up together Anniemc22; are you Corporal Annie on here or Corporal ec22 (sounds like a good title for a rock band.

Off to make a meal now having soaked the salad in a very mild Milton solution!

    Toodle Pip.
