Woud like to view items in home currencies

I'm not sure if this has been suggested already, but when I view non-U.S. listings, I see prices given in pounds or Euros and not in dollars. Since I don't convert currency all that well, I think it might be helpful if, in addition to the pound/Euro figure, (perhaps in parentheses or similar beside it), I could see the equivalent amount in dollars before bidding/buying.

I'm not sure if UK and European/Asian members can view U.S. auctions in their home currencies, but if not, this might be a good addition as well.

I assume you mean on search results? As listings already show currency conversion.

I just looked at a listing from the U.K. The price is shown in pounds with the U.S. dollar value in parentheses following: £1.99 ($3.25)

Then one from an Australian seller. Again, the price is shown in both currencies: A$19.95 ($21.15)

Make sure you are logged onto us.ebid.net. It is possible to log on to another country's site, but if you do then it won't do the currency conversion to U.S. dollars.

Shows up in searches for me in USD. When you click on the listing the US prices are in ( ).

Sorry, must be my computer then, as I don't see the conversions in parentheses in the listings. I use IE 8 and Windows Vista, wonder if I need to upgrade to see them?

I always log in using the U.S. eBid site.
