I must admit it did take me a couple of tries to get my first shop up and running, but after that adding the next 4 seemed quite logical.

But as you say anything that makes eBid more user friendly must be a good thing.

On the subject of user friendly has any one in the UK heard any more about the integration of Amazon Payments.

Yes..........user friendly store building is certainly a good thing. I have 4 of 5 and the process did seem easier after first.

As to the Amazon Payments process. I did seem to successfully navigate the process via Amazon, got verified through Amazon, ran into a snag on eBid (instructions in help menu didn't seem to work). Went back to Amazon, emailed for help and got instructions for making it work on eBid, haven't gotten back to the instructions yet. Not a very intuitive process. That's ok though, because as a Seller+ member I have plenty of time to doodle about getting things to work proper.

Creating/Editing a store involves three sections. Only one of those, section 2, requires the clicking of an update button.

Section 1 must be completed before a store is able to be placed online.
Section 3 updates in real time as categories are added.
Error checks on required fields are in place.

From that there is no reason that a single 'Save Store Settings' button could not be placed at the bottom of the form (where most would expect to find it) and the Update Section 2 button, which is a cause of confusion, got rid of.

Might skew the aptitude test, save time, reduce frustration. Can't have that! :-)

    Great Astral276 !

That is a great solution to the problem.
A single "Save Store Settings" button at the bottom of the form would be great and what most users would expect!

Its now on my list !
