What a curious hot start to the year here in London.

• We have just finished all the strawberries in the garden.
• The redcurrants are ready.
• We have to pick the cherries before the birds get to them.
• The apricots are turning colour already.

These things aren't supposed to happen until June!

I posted the other day that I woke up feeling rosey all over. Fossy added...Tell us more about Rosie!

Here in Illinois we had experienced 3 weekends over 80 degrees since the beginning of April last night it got down to the 50's and the highest it will get this weekend is in the 70's.

Our flowers and trees are a bit confused. I planted the vegetable garden last Saturday and fertilized the lawn in anticipation of the heavy rains predicted...so far not a drop. So In April we had our June, May we have experienced some August, March and April. I guess I'll leave the snow shovel out just in case!
