Just had a note saying ISBN and auto pic and discription go together so not one without the other.Sigh. So no ISBN no upload to Google.Not happy at all as i like to do my own.

Does this apply to ALL books regardless of which category they're listed in? A lot of my books are in craft/subject/charity categories.

Just tried a test listing with an ISBN and no stock photo/descr. came up in the preview - or does it get added afterwards?

Haven't started editing my book listings yet, but on doing some Google searches, NONE of mine show up now


LATER: Just been editing a few listings and it applies to ALL books if you enter the ISBN regardless of category.

LATER again - on editing listings, I find that I can add MY scan/photo as Stock photo!

p.s. and what about magazines - they have an ISSN number of 8 digits !

ISSN numbers don't change per issue of the magazine,
& I thought that was the idea, a unique identifier,
I think they were rejected last time I tried to put one in.

Not sure what happens if you just put in the info from the barcode,
a bit more clarification would help.

I'm begining to find that on editiing book listings and adding the ISBN number that I'm not getting the Stock photo/desc. box coming up when I go back in to check listing after saving.

Why is this? It worked earlier with newer listings - these are older ones that I'm looking at now e.g.

Is there a place to mark that it is handmade/custom so those items will be expempted?

Google has authorized an exemption on my website.

Sometimes when I am re-listing a book I will find someone has changed the stock photo to an image that is wrong for my ISBN number, and I need to save the correct stock photo back into the details. So please be sure any picture you save as a stock photo would represent the book for everyone on eBid!

And remember you can always add as many of your own pictures as you want in addition to the stock photo.

I am getting an email from Google like the one below every day at the moment - and I have no idea why!

I click on the link part where it tells me to go, but it starts telling me to set up a feed.
I aint got a clue with stuff like that - and have no idea why I am getting the emails.
